Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., is a general civil engineering and land surveying firm with over 55 years of experience working in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, Tennessee.

Our employees offer a variety of services from planning and land surveying to civil engineering design and expert witness testimony. Whether the client is a private developer or municipality, the public's general health, safety, and welfare are a primary concern. The consultants at Huddleston-Steele have performed surveying, planning, and/or design services for both private and public development projects in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County for over 55 years. These projects have included commercial and industrial sites, roadways and parking lots, sanitary sewers and water lines, schools, single-family and multifamily residential subdivisions, and community development projects. Most of these projects begin with preliminary planning that assesses the relationship of each project with the overall area on a concept basis. Land surveying is then performed to define the existing characteristics of the subject property. Analyses are preformed which include hydrology, hydraulics, and storm water management. Engineering design plans and specifications are then prepared with an emphasis on accuracy and detail. During construction, field review and observation may be provided to ensure that the contractor performs the work as intended. The product is a well-planned and designed project, economically developed for maximum benefit to the public.
